The Dubai theme parks reopening 2026 season is under way. Over six months since closing, Dubai Parks and Resorts reopens on 7th October, followed by Dubai Safari Park on 12th October. These are five parks reopening before the October break for schools. I have gathered these details of the dates, rates, and timings. Here is what each park offers, what it costs, and where I would go first.
Dubai Theme Parks Reopening 2026: Dates at a Glance
The Dubai theme parks reopening 2026 schedule is simple. Four parks at Dubai Parks and Resorts reopened together on Wednesday 7 October, so the Motiongate reopening date matches the other three. Dubai Safari Park follows on Monday 12 October. Legoland charges AED 330 at the gate and AED 295 online.
1. Motiongate Dubai: Reopening Date and Fright Nights IX
The Motiongate reopening date is 7 October, and Fright Nights IX opens the same day. The park runs 29 rides across Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Smurfs zones, plus thrills like Madagascar Mad Pursuit and The Hunger Games: Capitol Bullet Train. This year's haunted experiences include SAW: Trial by Terror and The Strangers: Trapped. Skip them with small kids. They are scary by design.

Fright Nights IX: 7 October to 8 November

Hours: 11 am to 8 pm Sunday to Thursday, 11 am to 9 pm Friday and Saturday
Where: Dubai Parks and Resorts, off Sheikh Zayed Road, opposite Palm Jebel Ali

2. Legoland Dubai: New Miniland Show and Halloween
Legoland Dubai reopening brings a new daily sound and light show at Miniland. That indoor, air-conditioned zone uses 20 million bricks and includes a 17-metre LEGO Burj Khalifa, the tallest Miniland model in the world. It is the best escape from the midday heat. The park suits kids aged two to 12 and has more than 40 rides. Halloween runs until 2 November.

Ticket Prices: AED 295 for online booking, AED 330 at the entrance
Halloween: 7 October to 2 November, included in day ticket price
Open: 11 am every day. The closing time varies from 7 pm to 8 pm.
Water Park: Has 20 water rides
Ideal for: Families with kids aged 2 to 12
3. Real Madrid World Dubai: Football Park Returns
Real Madrid World Dubai is the only Real Madrid theme park on earth, with more than 40 attractions. The Hala Madrid Coaster is the headline ride. Stars Flyer lifts riders about 140 metres above the park. Fans can learn the club's history at the Bernabéu Experience and test their skills at La Fábrica Training Pitch. It sits on the former Bollywood Parks site.

Tickets: From AED 295
Hours: Noon to 9 pm Sunday to Thursday, noon to 10pm Friday and Saturday

4. Riverland Dubai: Bowling, Racing Sims and Cheap Entry
Riverland Dubai reopening is the budget-friendly entry point. Entry starts at AED 25, and you can visit for dinner without a theme park ticket. New this season: bowling and Lamborghini racing simulators. Existing options include go-karting, archery, axe throwing, mini golf, puzzle rooms, and the Neon Galaxy arcade. Four zones hold the restaurants: French Village, Boardwalk, Sports Boulevard and The Peninsula.
Reopens: Wednesday, 7 October 2026
Entry: From AED 25, activities priced separately
Hours: 10 am to 10 pm Sunday to Thursday, 10 am to 11 pm Friday and Saturday

5. Dubai Safari Park: Season 8 Starts 12 October
Dubai Safari Park reopening in 2026 is Monday, 12 October at 9 am. Season 8 runs under the theme "Live More Wild Life". A first-ever Wildest Opening Week runs 12 to 18 October. The 119-hectare park in Al Warqa holds more than 3,000 animals from about 300 species across six zones. An AED 50 pass includes the Arabian Desert Safari. Arrive at 9 am, before the heat builds.
Reopens: Monday, 12 October 2026, 9am
Hours: 9 am to 6 pm daily
Tickets: AED 50 Safari Park Pass. AED 117 Safari Bundle online
Opening Week: 12 to 18 October, with the Little Explorers' Base Camp for kids
Where: Al Warqa 5, Dubai
Best for: Families and animal lovers
Editor’s Choice
My pick is Dubai Safari Park for most families. AED 50 is the cheapest full day out of the five, and the AED 117 bundle adds a shuttle train that helps across 119 hectares. Football fans should head to Real Madrid World Dubai first. Thrill seekers should book Motiongate on a weekday. Parents of children under 12 will like the Legoland Dubai reopening show in air-conditioned Miniland.
