Global Village Season 31 opens on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6pm and runs until May 2027 under the theme "A More Wonderful World." It is the one date every Dubai resident circles the moment autumn arrives, and having spent years in this park, I'd say the first week is not the best time to go.
When Does Global Village Open in 2026?
Gates open on October 14, 2026, at 6pm. That later start is only for opening day. From the following day, the park reverts to its normal 4pm opening.
Opens: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 6pm
Runs until: May 2027
Season: 31
Theme: A More Wonderful World
Location: Exit 37, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), Dubailand
On the closing date: Global Village has not confirmed one. Season 29 closed on May 11, 2025, and Season 30 was scheduled to close on May 10, 2026. Season 30 wrapped up on Sunday, May 31, 2026. Season 31 should run without a break through to May 2027.
Global Village Timings 2026-27
Global Village has not yet published Season 31 hours. These are the Season 30 timings, which match Season 29, and I'd plan around them:
| Days | Opens | Closes |
|---|---|---|
| Sunday to Wednesday | 4pm | 12am |
| Thursday to Saturday | 4pm | 1am |
| Public holidays | 4pm | 1am |
Global Village Tickets 2026: Prices and Entry Rules
Season 31 tickets are not on sale yet. The official site says they are "coming soon." Season 30 pricing, which is my baseline until a new tickets page goes live:
Weekday entry (Sunday to Thursday): AED 25
Weekend entry (Friday and Saturday): AED 30, and public holidays are charged at the weekend rate
Free entry: children under 3, seniors 65+, People of Determination (plus one companion)
Tuesdays: ladies and families only, except on public holidays
Buy online, not at the gate. I've stood in that entrance queue on a Friday night in December, and it easily eats 30 to 40 minutes you could spend at the food stalls.
VIP packs are already on pre-order. Six categories starting from AED 1,890, plus two "mega packs" that add Dubai Parks and Resorts access. Seasonal passes must be activated by May 31, 2027. These are aimed at people planning several visits, so for a single trip standard entry is the better value.
What Your Global Village Ticket Includes
The WonderPass is a reloadable card you use for Carnaval rides and games. Season 30's Family Fun Pass bundled 4 entry tickets with a WonderPass loaded with 400 points and one free Carnaval ride for AED 399. Expect a similar family bundle, but don't budget on that price until it's confirmed.
Fireworks, Parades and Daily Performances
Season 31 will include weekly parades and fireworks displays, plus daily shows from global artists and dancers at the pavilions. Top international performers will also take the Main Stage through the season, and Global Village has teased a full concert calendar without naming artists yet.
What that looked like last season:
Global Village New Pavilions and What's Different This Season
Full pavilion details for Season 31 have not been released. Global Village has confirmed "new and enhanced offerings" alongside returning favourites, with reveals expected in the weeks before October 14.
Returning attractions reported but not yet officially confirmed:
Season 30 closed with 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and more than 250 dining options, so Season 31 has a high bar to clear. Global Village also opened registration for food and beverage operators in August, which usually signals the dining line-up will grow again.
Best Time to Visit
Quietest: Sunday and Monday evenings
Family and ladies only: Tuesdays
Busiest: Thursday to Saturday nights and opening weekend
If you only go once, go on a weeknight in November and head straight to the India, Pakistan and China pavilions before working your way to Carnaval for the rides. By November the queues have settled, the weather has cooled and every stall is finished setting up, unlike the first week. Weeknights also leave enough room to browse the shopping outlets instead of being swept along by the crowd.
