Dubai Ride registration is open, and it costs nothing. On Sunday, 1 November 2026, Sheikh Zayed Road closes to cars and thousands of cyclists take over all 14 lanes. You choose a 4km family loop or a 12km road route. You must register online first, because there is no ride without a bib. Here is how to sign up, when to collect your bib, and what to bring for Dubai Ride on 1 November.

What to Bring and Ride Rules

Bring a roadworthy bike and a helmet. Nobody hands them out, and there are no rental bikes. Wear your bib on your body. Keep to the 25km/h limit and follow the marshals. Carry a filled water bottle, because water stations line the route. Skip large bags, as there is no bag drop. Leave pets at home.

Mandatory: Bike, helmet and numbered bib
Helmets: Required for everyone, including children in bike seats or trailers
Wear: Closed sports shoes

Editor's Choice

Complete the 12km course if you ride your bike on a weekly basis. Ride the 4km route if you have kids with you or you are new to cycling. The decision of your gate should depend upon where you plan on parking rather than where the landmark is located. Your bicycle cannot be taken inside the Metro system unless it is a foldable one, and you will start and end at the same location.
